Pain is a symptom from your body telling you that something is off.
Acne, bloating, PMS, rage, cramps, mood swings, heavy bleeding, back pain, infertility. These are symptoms of an underlying issue.
The female cycle is not supposed to be irregular, fraught with symptoms, or anovulatory.
Your menstrual cycle should be regular, ovulatory, and your periods should come and go with ease.
I'm not sure exactly how, but somewhere along the way, healthcare got sidetracked with symptom suppression and forgot that healing a person meant finding the root cause of their symptoms and addressing that!
Addressing the root cause of your issue means that you are not only eliminating the symptoms causing your distress, but you're dealing with the actual problem that is creating those symptoms.
"The only way to regulate your cycles is with hormonal birth control."
"Just take some Ibuprofen before your period comes and use a hot water bottle for the pain."
"It doesn't matter that you aren't ovulating, if you aren't trying to get pregnant."
"Charting your cycle doesn't give you any useful information."
"I don't want to run any tests because you have no reason to check your hormones."
A symptom management approach
Exhausted. Unhealthy. Still without help.
What if your periods could be easy?
What if you were able to regulate your feminine design naturally without birth control?
What if you knew how to prioritize different activities depending on your cycle phase?
What if you learned how to support your cycles from home with lifestyle changes first and foremost?
What if you had the tools to avoid PMS and watch out for red flags in your cycle?
What if you could take the data you gather through charting and bring it to a doctor who listened to your concerns?
What if you knew how to work with your female physiology instead of against it?
I'm a former competitive Irish dancer trained in sports medicine and fertility awareness. I've taught over 150 women and couples FEMM for health, cycle based exercise, and family planning.
I teach FEMM for health because it supports the normal, physiological processes of the reproductive system: ovulation, conception, and pregnancy.
FEMM allowed me to easily navigate some of my own health concerns. Personally, I dealt with missing periods, irregular cycles, anovulation, extreme pain and fatigue, as well as potential infertility. Through charting, I was able to guide my body back to healthy, ovulatory cycles with the support of skilled practitioners.
Wanna know the best part? I was able to see, in real time, the changes that supplements and lifestyle habits were making on my health! That's the power of charting!
I teach FEMM for family planning, not only because it's an integral part of my faith, but also because it works! I believe in the dignity of the human person and our God-given design. I love that we can use fertility awareness as a tool for health as well as discernment.
The beauty of using your cycle as a foundation for your health and family planning is that you learn to work with your fertility, not against it.
For far too long we women have been told that the only way to regulate our cycles, fix our hormonal imbalances, and eliminate period pain is by taking hormonal birth control.
We've dismissed our body's signals as something to hush up rather than listen to.
We've believed we have to live with debilitating symptoms that make our daily lives sometimes near impossible.
We've been told that hormonal imbalances, PCOS, endometriosis, and infertility are normal in today's world and some women just got a raw deal.
We've been left without support and without answers.
This doesn't have to be our story anymore!
We can figure out the root of our cycle concerns.
The pill doesn't regulate our cycles. It suppresses our hormones and replaces them with synthetic chemicals that have no health benefits.
Charting with FEMM is the first, crucial piece of our female puzzle! It gives you the tools to view your health in real time and find actual solutions to hormonal health.
Welcome to the world of cycle charting!
"This sounds great, but I don't want to be overwhelmed!"
Don't worry. I've got you. This workshop teaches the FEMM fertility awareness method in way that is easy to understand and easy to implement. It layers information so you learning just what you need to get started, but you become an expert in no time!
Maybe you're wondering, "What is FEMM and what is fertility awareness??"
FEMM is a comprehensive women's health program with a two-pronged approach to health. The first prong is fertility education. You learn how to chart your reproductive cycles so you can be an informed participant in your healthcare.
The second prong is medical management. FEMM trains providers in their medical management protocols so they can evaluate, diagnose, and treat reproductive concerns at the root of the issue. Remember when I said you could use your cycle data to get answers? These are the type of doctors you'd want to take your information to. They're well-versed in FEMM and know how to read your charts to determine next steps.
The FEMM protocol can be used for both health and family planning. This workshop only teaches you to chart for health.

Can I use this program on hormonal birth control?
If you're on HBC or a hormonal IUD, you are not experiencing natural fluctuations in hormones. Your cycle hormones are replaced by synthetic ones that do not allow your body to produce the same hormones that you'd see in a normal, reproductive cycle. The information in this program may still be helpful, but won't be applicable in the same way, as you are not cycling naturally.
Will the workshop teach charting for family planning?
The workshop does not cover the FEMM family planning protocol. Only charting for health. If you want to learn the family planning protocol, sign up for the family planning workshop!
What charting protocol do you teach?
I teach and use the FEMM fertility awareness protocol. It's an incredible program with an educational piece (learning to chart) and a medical management piece. Women can connect with healthcare providers who are trained through FEMM's medical management program. These providers use your cycle data to help evaluate, diagnose, and treat any reproductive concern.
Can I use this program with an irregular cycle?
Yes. While it is more challenging to chart your cycle when it's irregular, it's definitely possible to use this information. This program can help mitigate some of your concerns because you'll naturally be tuning in to your body's signals more.
Is there any 1:1 support with this program?
There are some private chart reviews included, but you can always purchase more 1:1 time with Mairead.
Who is this course for? Who is it not for?
THIS COURSE IS FOR: Women who are looking for education on normal cycle patterns, red flags, and using cycle data as a health tool. Women who are hoping to learn to chart their cycles for health. Women who want to mitigate cycle symptoms from home with lifestyle changes. THIS COURSE IS NOT FOR: Women who want more 1:1 support. Women who have no interest in charting their cycles to be in tune with their hormonal fluctuations. Women who are on hormonal birth control will not benefit from this course in the same way as women who are naturally cycling.
